It is with great delight that I hereby declare I will no longer be contributing as a writer for The Bad Influence mugazine. I’m done trying to ignore the cattlemarket mentality. When I was approached by the editor to join this supposed postcard from the edge; I thought it an opportune moment to add a feminist corner to this man club. I watched as the admin/writers vandelised every platform with their anti-humanity flags. The sexism, racism, religious and cultural slurs all gathered a dark force on social media. The haters collaborated their bitterness and risked their professional reputations to be part of the mob that is TBI.

Diversity will not be downtrodden.

Fear should not force you to swallow the debris of hatred.

Women are not ‘pussy,’

The penis is NOT in control and will NOT silence those who protect the voiceless.

Women are equal to men, as animals are equal to ALL life.

Respect is not at whim or privilege.

Good intentions can last but people will always follow the trends. Freedom of expression will only work if we DO NOT HURT OR USE OTHERS as a dartboard.

I’ve chosen to step out of this arena that is TBI and hope those who have taken the time to read my poems and articles, will continue to do so on Medium.com or LinkedIn. Thank you to all of you who continue to uphold humanity where the despicable and unjust wish to reign. Use empathy, not mockery to connect with others.
