Duplicit acceptance stitched me in.

Tangled voices shadowing through,

Salt laced stares cut like tin. Escape

Clamped shut the blanket of blue.

Drunk bee at the window, musical

Free. Negotiate the air, taxidermal

Hand, tepid embraces stewed black

Tea, a puppetry peck as Judas

Planned. Undone, the thread

Slipped the eye. Pin cushion tread

Across the stage. I’ve found the

Flower pressed Butterfly,

Bleeding wings across the page.
