National Milk Chocolate Day

28th July

As you indulge in a bar of animal exploitation; spare a thought for the calf who actually needed its mother’s milk. The dairy industry separates newborns from their mothers to avoid bonding taking place. Cows, goats and sheep are robbed of their milk destined for humans and not their own young who are instead given processed formula milk.

It’s 2019 and vegan food is no longer a rare find. Dark chocolate is often vegan, check the label and make the switch. Would you drink the milk of your ‘pet’ cat or dog? Try plant based alternatives to cow juice. Respect your body, animals and the planet by avoiding dairy. Try a dairy free month and observe your energy levels, skin and digestion. Guilt free chocolate exists and doesn’t cost the earth or lives. If you still think dairy and meat are acceptable or necessary to your diet, ask yourself what veal is? Taking milk from a baby, or eating a baby; both denote the savage human.
